Giani Ardelean from Lupeni, Hunedoara County, stands out as a breeder with vast experience and an unwavering passion for pigeon racing, a pursuit he has cultivated since childhood. Despite the challenges of the Jiu Valley — a region with difficult terrain and numerous predators — he has managed to develop an elite breeding base, recognized both nationally and internationally.
Over the years, his loft has hosted pigeons from some of the greatest marathon masters in Europe: Etienne Meirlaen, Wim Muller, Cor de Heijde, Kipp & Söhne, Jelle Jellema, Rex de Leuw, as well as originals from Andreeas Drapa, G. van Tuyl, Benno Kastelein, Gero Dijk, and Ronald Geerdink (100% Cor de Heijde). This careful selection has consolidated a strong genetic line, designed to deliver top performances in marathon, speed, middle-distance, and general categories.
Currently, Mr. Ardelean is offering for sale a group of 12 pigeons with elite origins, destined to carry forward the tradition of success. The results achieved by fanciers who have introduced these pigeons into their lofts confirm their genetic value:
