Caplea Doru is a dedicated pigeon fancier from Mehedinți County, with valuable experience and remarkable results in racing pigeon competitions. Through his passion and commitment, Doru has consistently managed to secure top positions on important podiums at both regional and national levels, thus confirming his status as a top breeder in the Oltenia region.

In 2022, Caplea Doru achieved 1st place in the young bird long-distance category in Oltenia Province, on the western route, a performance that earned him recognition and respect in the pigeon fanciers’ community.

The year 2023 brought even more notable successes: 2nd place in the extreme marathon for old birds, also in Oltenia Province on the western route, where his pigeons covered impressive distances of around 1200 km, including races from Stendal and Berlin.

The most important result of 2023 was winning 1st place in Berlin County, confirming an outstanding record at the international level. The pigeon with ring number 704402-21 was the star of the season, bringing home a valuable title and further consolidating Caplea Doru’s reputation as an elite pigeon fancier.

Through these remarkable achievements, Caplea Doru not only promotes pigeon racing in Mehedinți but also inspires a new generation of breeders to dedicate their time and passion to this beautiful field.

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
