Caplea Doru is a dedicated pigeon fancier from Mehedinți County, with valuable experience and remarkable results in racing pigeon competitions. In 2022, Caplea Doru achieved 1st place in the young bird long-distance category in Oltenia Province, on the western route, a performance that earned him recognition and respect in the pigeon fanciers’ community.
The year 2023 brought even more notable successes: 2nd place in the extreme marathon for old birds, also in Oltenia Province on the western route, where his pigeons covered impressive distances of around 1200 km, including races from Stendal and Berlin.
The most important result of 2023 was winning 1st place in Berlin County, confirming an outstanding record at the international level. The pigeon with ring number 704402-21 was the star of the season, bringing home a valuable title and further consolidating Caplea Doru’s reputation as an elite pigeon fancier.
