Viorel Slăniceanu, a passionate young pigeon fancier from Arad, has established himself in recent years as one of the most promising figures in Romanian pigeon racing, standing out through exceptional results and a steady rise in the national rankings. As a member of Romania’s National Team in Category G, Slăniceanu has built his reputation through dedication, discipline, and a deep understanding of the art of breeding and training racing pigeons.

Specializing in short-distance competitions, he demonstrated remarkable talent from the very beginning, benefiting from the support of his close friend, Marta Daniel, who provided him with pigeons of exceptional genetic quality. The year 2022 marked a defining moment in his career when he placed in the national Top 10 in the Young Birds Speed category, confirming his competitive potential. In 2023, his partnership with the renowned breeder Bartoș Iștvan, famous for his elite breeding line, marked the beginning of an outstanding collaboration that would give birth to the so-called “Golden Tandem” of Romanian pigeon racing.

Under the name Slăniceanu & Bartoș, the team from Arad has become a symbol of performance and professionalism in the speed category, being recognized for their consistent, intelligent, and highly competitive pigeons. The results achieved in the following years fully confirm the value of this tandem. In 2024, their loft achieved seven placements in the national Top 20 — an extraordinary performance highlighting the exceptional quality of their breeding stock and the rigor of their training methods:

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

Meeting points:

• Supermarket parking lot
• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
