Pristavu Family – Tradition, Passion and Excellence at the Highest Level of Romanian Pigeon Racing

The Pristavu Family holds a prestigious position in the pigeon racing community of Bacău County, being widely recognized for its outstanding achievements in Marathon and Ace Marathon competitions. Competing as members of Club 4/2 Buhuși, the family has built, through passion, perseverance and rigorous selection, a racing loft that has established itself among the most respected in Romanian pigeon racing.

From the very beginning, the Pristavu Family has focused on long-distance racing, where endurance, orientation skills and the genetic quality of racing pigeons are tested under the most demanding conditions. Their dedication and commitment to preparing their racing team have been rewarded with numerous top rankings at county and national levels, including the victory in the prestigious Birzai race, one of their most notable achievements.

Behind these outstanding results stands a carefully selected breeding team, developed around internationally renowned bloodlines such as Emil Denys, Gerard van Tuyl, Frans Bruggeman and Cor de Heijde. The successful combination of these prestigious origins, accumulated experience and a performance-oriented selection strategy has played a decisive role in developing a family of pigeons capable of competing at the highest level.

The year 2020 marked one of the most important milestones in the history of the loft, when the Pristavu Family achieved an exceptional accomplishment by winning two National Championship titles in the Yearling Marathon and Yearling Ace Marathon categories. With an impressive score of 22.14 points, this double triumph confirmed the extraordinary quality of their pigeons and firmly established the Pristavu Family among the elite of Romanian marathon pigeon racing.

Far from being an isolated success, these championship titles marked the beginning of a period of consistent excellence. Repeated appearances on national podiums, season after season, demonstrate the family's ability to maintain an exceptionally high competitive standard and transform their passion for pigeon racing into a genuine tradition of excellence.

Today, the Pristavu Family is a highly respected name in Romanian pigeon racing, representing ambition, consistency and professionalism. Through their remarkable achievements and the genetic quality of their breeding pigeons, the family has further strengthened its reputation in long-distance racing, proving that true excellence is built over time through careful selection, patience and an unwavering passion for marathon racing.
