In 2024, sixteen years have passed since the debut of Mehedinți pigeon fancier Liviu Plăvițu in the fascinating world of racing homing pigeons. From his very first contact with this environment, the experience proved to be a true “love at first sight.” Discovering competitive pigeon racing opened the door to a field defined by rigor, passion, and rivalry, awakening in him a profound desire to excel and to establish himself among the very best.

After a natural period of familiarization with the specifics of pigeon racing competitions, Liviu Plăvițu quickly shaped his strategy and recognized his potential to achieve top-level performance. Thus, 2013 marks his first notable results: two national trophies, by securing 1st and 3rd place in the National Young Bird Middle-Distance category, as well as an impressive 4th national place in the same section. These early achievements were only the prelude to an exceptional career, later reflected in an impressive record that includes 20 national trophies, two titles as winner of the prestigious “Pigeon of the Year” award, and participation in the Pigeon Olympiad and the European Exhibition.

Beyond these major successes, Liviu Plăvițu has accumulated numerous other remarkable results, including multiple appearances in the national top 10 across various categories. This coherent and consistent trajectory reflects not only the intensity of his passion for pigeons but also his ability to excel in a demanding, competitive, and ever-evolving field.

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

Meeting points:

• Supermarket parking lot
• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
