Narcis and Beni Găitan – Performance and Consistency in Long-Distance Pigeon Racing

Narcis and Beni Găitan hold a prominent position in pigeon racing in Suceava County, thanks to their results at county and national levels, particularly in long-distance competitions. Their approach is characterised by consistency, rigorous selection and systematic preparation, all of which have contributed to an impressive racing record.

In a competitive discipline that demands endurance, navigational ability and efficient recovery, the loft’s performances reflect both the pigeons’ potential and the quality of race management. Their sustained results demonstrate the effectiveness of the selection and preparation methods applied over successive seasons.

A milestone in their competitive record was 1st place in Olympic Category C – Long Distance in the previous season. This result was achieved by a cock that distinguished himself in races over distances exceeding 600 km, recording a score of 19.98 points. This achievement highlights the bird’s racing quality and his importance within the loft’s record of results.

The current season’s results confirm the continuity of this success. Securing eight 1st-place national champion finishes demonstrates the loft’s competitiveness and its ability to maintain performance throughout the season. These achievements reflect an approach grounded in experience, careful observation and the adaptation of preparation to the demands of each race.

A further recognition of their work is the award of the Master title, Narcis and Beni Găitan being the first pigeon fanciers in Suceava County to receive this distinction. The title recognises their contribution to pigeon racing at county level and complements their competitive achievements.

Through their accumulated results and consistent performances in long-distance competitions, Narcis and Beni Găitan contribute to the national recognition of pigeon racing in Suceava County. Their record illustrates the role of perseverance, methodical selection and systematic preparation in achieving lasting sporting success.
