Mircea Remus – A Passion for Marathon Racing, Elite Genetics
Based in Germany, Mircea Remus has built his loft around a passion for long-distance and extreme long-distance racing. By investing in quality pigeons, selecting carefully and preparing consistently, he has achieved remarkable results in German competitions.
Convinced that success begins with a strong breeding foundation, he acquired pigeons through PIPA from renowned fanciers such as Cor de Heijde and Verweij & Peter de Haan. His choices were guided by both pedigree quality and the proven results of their families.
His loft houses descendants of notable pigeons including “Jonge Don Michel”, “Marianne”, “Diamantje”, “Smaragd”, “Milos”, “Miss Milos” and “de Kleine Blauwe”. These bloodlines underpin a breeding programme focused on endurance, homing ability and consistency in long-distance races.
The quality of his team has also shone through in demanding races where the winners’ speeds did not exceed 1,100 m/min. These results reflect the quality of his pigeons and the care devoted to their selection and preparation.
For the first time, Mircea Remus is offering Romanian fanciers the opportunity to acquire direct offspring of his valuable stock birds, including pigeons originating from Cor de Heijde and Verweij & Peter de Haan. This is an opportunity for those looking to strengthen their lofts with European bloodlines established in long-distance and marathon racing.
Through dedication and perseverance, Mircea Remus combines the experience gained in Germany with a desire to make valuable genetics more accessible to Romanian fanciers.
