Mihalescu Flavius Andrei, a member of the Voiajorul Rădăuți club, stands out through the performances achieved in his own loft and the results of pigeons he has bred, successfully raced by other fanciers in different parts of the country. The 2025–2026 seasons feature notable middle-distance, long-distance and marathon results, complemented by outstanding achievements in the national championships.
Performances in his own loft
Results achieved during this period include:
- 1st against 11,250 p – Long Distance, Warsaw 1
- 3rd against 12,260 p – Middle Distance, Jaroslaw
- 1st Club – Young Bird Marathon Qualification 2025, with RO25-1182863
- 1st Club – Yearling Marathon Multi-Season Record 2026, with the same pigeon, RO25-1182863
- 3rd – Yearling Long Distance 2026, with RO25-1182855, scoring 40.08 points
Special mention goes to RO25-1182863, which continued as a yearling the successful run it began as a young bird. Winning the Young Bird Marathon Qualification in 2025, followed by 1st Club in the Yearling Marathon Multi-Season Record category in 2026, highlights its consistency across the two seasons.
Four national titles with a single pigeon
One of the loft’s most significant references comes from Huzdup Valentin, who secured four FRSC National Champion titles in 2026 with RO24-77394, bred by Mihalescu Flavius Andrei:
- 1st National – Long Distance
- 1st National – Ace Long Distance
- 1st National – Long Distance Multi-Season Record
- 1st National – Ace Long Distance Multi-Season Record
Four national titles in a single season, won by the same pigeon, represent a remarkable achievement. This success highlights both the qualities of the pigeon bred in the Mihalescu loft and the preparation and dedication of Huzdup Valentin.
A valuable reference from Sibiu
Further confirmation comes from the loft of Tepean Rareș & Ștefania, in Sibiu, where RO25-1182821, also bred by Mihalescu Flavius Andrei, won 1st County – Yearling Long Distance.
These achievements complement Flavius’s own racing record and bring further recognition to his loft. Pigeons bred in the same loft and proving themselves with different fanciers in different parts of the country provide valuable evidence of their racing potential.
