Lazăr Daniel is an established pigeon fancier from Zalău, Sălaj County, who has built his reputation through exclusive dedication to one of the most demanding branches of pigeon racing: the marathon competitions. For him, flights of over 800–900 kilometers are not merely a competition category, but the ultimate test of character, intelligence, and endurance for the racing pigeon.

In recent years, Daniel Lazăr has consistently and strategically invested in elite genetic material, originating from some of the most renowned marathon families in Europe. Among these are Jelle Jellema, a global benchmark for long-distance endurance races; Ko Van Dommelen, known for his exceptionally resilient pigeons capable of performing under extreme weather conditions; Bungeneers, a line distinguished by balance and consistency in long-distance and marathon races; Saarlos, with birds marked by sustained speed and strong determination over long stages; as well as N. Peiren and N. Paesen, leading Belgian breeders valued for the steadiness of their marathon pigeons and for descendants that continue to prove themselves across numerous European lofts.

Regarding his future vision, Lazăr Daniel aims to consolidate several foundational families within his loft, built around those males and females that have shown not only individual performances but consistent results over multiple marathon seasons. Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
