Dumitriu Teodor – a passion for performance, with a special affinity for marathon racing

My name is Dumitriu Teodor, and I am a member of the Neamț Pigeon Racing Association, Piatra Neamț Club. I enjoy competing across all distance categories, but marathon racing holds a special place in my passion for the sport.

From the very beginning, I was fascinated by pigeons from the Vanbruaene bloodline, which I discovered through my godfather, Florin Petrache, who had obtained them from the master fancier Ioan Carmazan. These pigeons inspired me to explore this bloodline further and develop its potential in my own loft.

Later, I made several visits to Belgium to see Patrick Delrue, grandson of the renowned pigeon fancier André Vanbruaene. There, I acquired several pigeons, which I crossed with birds from the Nouwen-Paesen bloodline.

The descendants of these crosses have brought me success across all distance categories, with results that reflect the work and selection carried out in my loft:

• 1st National – National Ace Yearlings
• 1st Provincial – Overall Yearlings
• 2nd Provincial – Long-Distance Multi-Year Championship, Old Birds
• 3rd County – Marathon Old Birds
• 5th County – Ace Marathon Old Birds
• 8th National – Overall Yearlings
• 11th National – Long-Distance Multi-Year Championship, Old Birds

Attention!
