My name is Pintilie Cătălin and I am an active member of the Columba Suceava branch, considered one of the most successful pigeon racing organizations in Romania in marathon competitions. My passion for pigeons began in childhood and, over time, evolved into an activity carried out with rigor, consistency, and an exclusive focus on performance. I compete only in Extreme Marathon races, adopting a pragmatic approach aimed at achieving top results over very long distances under difficult racing conditions.

The Elite Breeding Loft – The Foundation of Performance

The principle governing my breeding activity is clear and uncompromising: only birds of the highest value are retained. The breeding compartment therefore represents a carefully constructed selection of exceptional genetic material, originating from renowned sources:

• Imports from the Netherlands – pigeons acquired directly from internationally renowned breeders, belonging to lines well known for endurance, stamina, and consistency in marathon races;

• The elite of national pigeon sport – valuable genetic material obtained from prestigious Romanian breeders whose results have already been confirmed at national level.

Rigorous Selection and Testing Process

The birds produced from the breeding loft are subjected to an extremely strict evaluation process. Testing is carried out exclusively in Extreme Marathon competitions, where pigeons must demonstrate superior orientation ability, endurance, and adaptability to extreme conditions.

The fundamental criterion of selection is sporting efficiency. Only pigeons that consistently meet expectations and prove their undeniable competitive value earn a permanent place in the loft.
