Cosmin Olteanu – An Exceptional 2021 Season

Cosmin Olteanu, from Urlați, Prahova County, finished the 2021 season with outstanding performances, reaffirming his standing in Romanian pigeon racing. His results in Sprint Yearlings and Middle Distance Yearlings brought two exceptional hens into the spotlight: RO-20-0020655 and RO-20-0020011.

The two hens secured the top two national places in both categories, collecting a total of six national trophies, including three first-place awards. This record reflects the pigeons’ consistency and the care devoted to their selection and preparation.

Racing on the widowhood system, champion RO-20-0020655 achieved a coefficient of 3.67 points, while runner-up RO-20-0020011 recorded 4.59 points.

A valuable genetic foundation also underpins these results. The champion was bred from a Rudy Van Reeth cock and a Jos Cools hen, while the runner-up was bred from a Jos Cools cock and hen “484”, an Olympiad representative from his own loft.

Through these achievements, Cosmin Olteanu demonstrates the strength of a loft where valuable bloodlines are supported by careful preparation and results at the highest national level.
