Neculai Buculei – A Passion for Marathon Racing and Investment in Valuable Bloodlines

Neculai Buculei stands out in marathon competitions in Suceava County, a pigeon racing community known for its strong competition. His experience, perseverance and national and international results reflect the progress of a fancier dedicated to long-distance performance.

Over the past two years, he has invested in pigeons from respected breeders in Romania and across Europe, aiming to strengthen his breeding foundation and develop a team capable of competing at the highest national level.

His breeding stock includes pigeons from Gerard Schalkwijk, Gerard van Tuyl, Cees Nijdeken, Sharlos, Frans Beletser, Frank Zwiers, Peter de Haan, Wim Gielen, Kipp und Söhne, Freialdenhofen & Söhne, Etienne Meirlaen and F.S. Kramer. These are complemented by birds from the Romanian lofts of Măgirescu, Ojog Dorneanu, the Aparaschivei brothers, the Bodor family, the Priștavu family, Roman Claudiu and Burciu Daniel.

By combining these bloodlines with careful selection and consistent preparation, Neculai Buculei aims to fulfil the potential of each generation. His loft follows a clear direction: breeding pigeons with the endurance and consistency required for marathon racing.

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

Meeting points:

• Supermarket parking lot
• Gas station parking lot

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
