Ghetes Adrian – “The Barcelona Team”, performance and consistency in marathon racing

Ghetes Adrian stands out through his achievements at Barcelona, Dax and Perpignan, where his pigeons secured victories and numerous top positions during the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

A key feature of his loft is that he owns Romania’s largest colony of pigeons originating from Robert Ben. The French fancier from Calais is renowned for his achievements in major marathon races, winning 1st International Barcelona in 2021 against 16,595 pigeons. His famous “Super Ben” achieved 5th, 20th and 44th International Barcelona, as well as 3rd, 20th and 21st International Perpignan, results that have earned Robert Ben widespread recognition among long-distance enthusiasts.

A special place in Ghetes Adrian’s team belongs to “Golden Barca Warrior” – RO-23-2035244, winner of 1st National Ace Pigeon over the International Races 2026 – Jim Emerton Belief Trophy, also awarded the BICC Diploma of Merit 2026. This pigeon achieved 1st GDSBNFC Barcelona, 2nd National BICC and BBC Barcelona, as well as 2nd GDSBNFC and 7th National BICC Perpignan in 2026, following 11th National BICC Barcelona in 2025.

At Dax, “De Dax Primus” – FR-24-273706, bred and raced by Ghetes Adrian, won 1st National BICC Dax Yearlings 2025 over 888 km, and confirmed its quality in 2026 with 3rd GDSBNFC Dax and 11th National BICC Dax. The team also includes “Lady Pyrenees”, “BUBU”, “DE 158” and “Barca Primus”, with significant national results at Barcelona and Perpignan.

Transportation costs (both domestic and international) will be paid directly to the carriers.

The transportation rates are as follows

• International transport: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon, for deliveries outside Romania.
• External transport: 125 RON (25 EUR) per pigeon for deliveries from Europe to Romania.
• Home delivery: 250 RON (50 EUR) per pigeon.
• Domestic transport within Romania: 75 RON (15 EUR) per pigeon.

Pigeons will be delivered only to county residences, except in cases where the buyer's residence is more than 25 km away from the designated meeting point. In such cases, the courier will recalculate the cost and arrange delivery within the 25 km radius.

Meetings on the roadside, at roundabouts, intersections, etc., are excluded.

The courier is required to notify the buyer one day before delivery and again 1.5 to 2 hours before arriving at the meeting point. Upon request and for an additional cost of 5 RON, pigeons can be delivered in a cardboard box.

Delivery times:

• 1-7 days from the date of collection for deliveries within Romania.
• 1-10 days for international deliveries.

Working hours:
Monday - Sunday, from 07:00 to 23:00.

During transportation, the pigeons are considered the property of the courier, who is directly responsible for their well-being. If a pigeon does not meet clinical standards (is unhealthy or weak), the courier is obligated to refuse collection from the seller and immediately inform the auction site's management. Any issues caused by the courier will be financially compensated by them.
