        Last weekend, within the Neamt Association, the first stage of the 2023 season took place, starting from the town of Darabani, where most of the breeders had a distance of approximately 140 km. In this competition, 5773 pigeons of the 118 breeders arranged in the 4 clubs of the association were hired.

        The weather was suitable for a successful competition, the first pigeon observed on the entire launch flying at a speed of over 1350 m/min.

        In the Piatra Neamt Club, the winner was none other than Novac Vasile, an indispensable personality of the county, provincial and national podium. It is entitled to be the "all round" of the association, participating in absolutely all competitions organized from speed to extreme marathon.

        The winning pigeon of the breeder Novac Vasile was found with a speed of 1357 m / min, succeeding to overtake the 2144 participating pigeons from the club, and at the association level being in 4th place out of the total of 5773 employed pigeons. Even from a young age, RO 20-520630 showed signs of a good flyer, this being competed in 3 stages of 683 km in the championship of mature pigeons, and in 2021 it will arrive first at the breeding at the Madona National competition, 1156 km.

        The origin is a combination of Gaby Vandenabeele/Raoul Verstraete pigeons with Nouwen Paesen pigeons from the well-known Aradian breeder Nicu Siclovan. Certainly, the qualities of this pigeon could not have been put to good use without the skill of the breeder, who has so far managed to obtain county champion titles both in the speed category and in the half-distance, long-distance, general and marathon categories.

        More over, his skill made him to be on the third step of the national podium in the 2022 season in the "Quality - Endurance - Performance" category, where the pigeon RO 21-443236 achieved 4 top rankings in the marathon and extreme marathon competitions where he was employed.
