Miklos Szekely, the best pigeon fancier in the Speed Breeders category for the last four years

The pigeon fancier Miklos Szekely, from Blaj, Alba, is a very well-known breeder in our country. Of course, the results are what brought him this notoriety, and Miklos Szekely managed to maintain himself at a very high level in the 2023 season as well.

The breeder we present to you today is a true specialist in speed races. Although he doesn't live in the best part of the country to compete in this category, Miklos Szekely manages every year to overcome the problems caused by falcons and those involved in the flight route and to raise above his head, at each national premiere, several national trophies in the favorite categories.

Double national champion in 2023

In the Speed category, Miklos Szekely won everything there was to win. He is also an Olympian in this category, but we can say that he has a special interest in the categories dedicated to breeders. For many years now, he has always been among the three occupants of the national podium at Speed Breeders, a performance he also ticked off in the 2023 season. Not only did he win a new national trophy, but he even managed to be a double national champion, at the categories Palmares Breeders Speed 2 years and Palmares Breeders Speed 3 years. It is very important to highlight the fact that also in the 2022 season, the pigeon fancier from Alba achieved the same feat of being the national champion of the 2-year-old Breeders' Speed Palmares and 3-year-old Palmares Speed categories, as well as national vice-champion in the Breeders Speed category. If we also add the 3rd place national Speed Breeders Palmares 2 years obtained in 2021, but also the 1st place national Speed Breeders from the year 2020 we can say, without making a mistake, that Miklos Szekely is the Romanian breeder with the best results in the Speed Breeders category in the last four competitive years.

The team selected with great care

As expected, these very good results are not the result of chance. From the approximately 60 pigeons he competes in total widowhood, Miklos Szekely selects the team very carefully, guided by some very well established criteria. The first of these is experience. Thus, three of the pigeons that make up the team will always be pigeons with a lot of competition experience and preferably pigeons that have not missed a single stage. The other two will be pigeons that present themselves in good shape at that stage, here taking into account the way they train, how quickly they respond to commands to enter the loft, but also how motivated they prove to be.

Considering that the one we are talking about is the most titled speedster of the last seasons, these coordinates by which Miklos Szekely selects his team pigeons deserve to be taken into account by all pigeon fans aiming for a national trophy at the "breeders"!
