The desire to perform has made many look for the best pigeons to bring to their lofts, hoping that their products will take them to the podium as quickly as possible. Thus, a very beautiful side of pigeon fanciness, namely pigeon breeding, has almost completely disappeared from the list of concerns of Romanian pigeon fanciers.
Florin Cioacă, the well-known pigeon fancier from Dolj, is a breeder with an enviable track record. In his career of almost three decades, he managed to obtain a lot of trophies, among which we mention the following: 1st National Lot Olympic Category E Marathon 2014, 9th Olympic Budapest 2015, 1st National Extreme Marathon Palmares 2013-2014, 1st National Marathon Palmares 2013-2014, 1st National Youth Marathon 2016, 1st National Youth Speed 2002, 2nd National Youth Long Distance 2013, 2nd National Extreme Marathon Palmares 2012-2013-2014, 2nd National Marathon Palmares 2012-2013-2014, 2nd National Extreme Marathon Youth 2015, 2nd National Speed Mature + Youth 2002, 3rd National Youth Long Distance 2013, 3rd National Youth Marathon 2015, 1st National Breeders Long Distance 2013, 1st National Breeders Long Distance 2013-2013, 2 National Breeders Long Distance 2012-2013-2014, 2 National Breeders Long Distance 2018-2019, 3 National Breeders Long Distance 2018. But, at the same time, Florin Cioacă, thanks to his skill in breeding his pigeons, created an extremely strong family of pigeons starting from a single breeding couple.

In the last period, the pigeons purchased by different pigeon fanciers in the country from Florin Cioacă have started to positively influence their lofts. A real "explosion" of references took place this year, when, even in the conditions of new flight routes, many of the performing pigeons carry the genes of the pigeon family created by Florin Cioacă. The first good sign came from the very first marathon stage of the season, in the province of Oltenia, Wlodawa 1, where the 2nd place in the entire launch (8860 pigeons) was achieved by Sorin Oprea, from Olt, with a male whose mother , on the paternal line, comes from Florin Cioacă's pigeons. In short, one of the grandmothers of this male is a 100% Florin Cioacă female.
After this stage followed the National Wlodawa, where the 1st place on the release, obtained by Tiberiu David, also from Olt, is a male 50% Florin Cioacă. The father of the winner of this competition was bred by Florin Cioacă, having behind him all the basic pigeons of the breeder. Also at this stage, the 1st place in Dolj county (1300 pigeons) and 3rd place in the entire launch, obtained by Boruzi Cristian, is a 50% Florin Cioacă female. Also, the 2nd place on Dolj was obtained by Anghel Alexandru with a pigeon with origins 50% Florin Cioacă, and on the 6th county place we find Broșteanu Dalin, with a pigeon also 50% Florin Cioacă. And to make everything perfect, the 1st place among breeders on Dolj (178 participants) was obtained by Mișcu Ștefan, his first team pigeon also being "touched" by the genes of Florin Cioacă's pigeons.
The references didn't stop there and continued at the third marathon competition, Wlodawa 3. Just like at the national stage, the 1st place in the launch, obtained by Ispas Mihăiță, from Olt, has as his paternal grandfather a son of Olympic 008, his pigeon Florin Cioacă, who took 9th place in the Budapest Olympics in category E, double national champion and double national vice-champion in Marathon and Extreme Marathon Palmares 2 and 3 years! Beyond these, at the National Sokolka stage, the first pigeon at the Craiova Elite club level, competed by Florin Rădoi, is 100% Cioacă Florin. In the Ace Fond Youth category, the Dolj county champion, 2nd provincial and 5th national place, is also an original Cioacă Florin pigeon, competing in tandem with Venus Fulger, from Craiova. In addition to this, another 3 pigeons from the total of 16 that met the norm of the As Youth Fund 2023 category on Dolj come from the pigeons of the same Florin Cioacă, in proportions of 50 or 100%.
The end of the season and the centralization of the results also enriched Florin Cioacă's record of references. Thus, in the following, we will present you only a part of the results obtained by different breeders with the pigeons created and selected by him: 1st place National Ace Youth Marathon, obtained by Ispas Mihăiță (25% Florin Cioacă), 1st place Ace Extrem Ilfov, obtained by Stoian Nicușor (50% Florin Cioacă), 1st place Ace Maraton Maturi Olt, obtained by Bîciu Marius (25% Florin Cioacă), 7th place Provincial Marathon Maturi, 10th provincial Ace Marathon Maturi, obtained by Dan Nedelcu (50% Florin Cioacă) . At the same time, breeders such as Stingheru Florian, Diaconu Cristian, Popa Dumitru, Ciobanu Dănuț, Călin Cătălin or Frații Cărbune have also managed to meet Long Distance, Marathon or Ace Marathon standards with pigeons based, in varying percentages, on the family of pigeons bearing the Florin Cioacă brand.
