Alexandru Cazacu, the Romanian pigeon fancier with real collections of breeders

 Alexandru Cazacu is one of the pigeon fanciers from our country who does not need too many details to be described. He is very well known both for his results, which are not few, but especially for the fact that he owns one of the strongest and most complete lotf of breeders from us in the country. His breeding loft consists pigeons with the best and most current origins for each flight category.

 As expected, since he competes for every flight category, but is also a great fan of famous lines of pigeons, Alexandru Cazacu has an impressive loft also in terms of the number of pigeons. Its lofts number about 350, while the annual flight team consists of 250 fliers. Of these, 100 are engaged in the marathon races and the rest remain to compete in the Speed, Middle Distance, Long Distance and All Round.

The best lines in the West in the breeding compartment

 Alexandru Cazacu's breeders are divided into compartments according to the flight category. Because he has as a basic principle when purchasing pigeons to bring the best to Belgium and the Netherlands, Alexandru Cazacu has built real colonies with super-origins over time. Thus, for Speed, he reproduces from original pigeons Dirk van den Bulck, Van den Brande, Jos Cools or Leo Heremans. For the Midle Distance and Long Distance category, Alexandru Cazacu brought his original pigeons Gerard Koopman, Gaby Vandenabeele, Jan Hooymans and Peter Janssen. When it comes to marathon pigeons, the pigeon fancier in the capital is even more selective. Every year, he purchases direct sons from the Belgian and Dutch champions at Maraton and As Maraton, all these "details" prove the fact that we are talking about one of the strongest breeding colonies in Romania. This is also proven by the many top national references, but also by our own results.

Multiple provincial champion and national award winner

 For the Bucharest pigeon fancier, the 2023 season was one of the best in his career. At the provincial level, Alexandru Cazacu dominated many of the categories. He is the champion of Muntenia in As Lond Distance Old Birds, but also in Long Distance Fanciers 2 and 3 years old, champion in All Round Fanciers and national vice-champion in All Round Fanciers 3 years and also obtained 3rd place in the provincial Marathon Fanciers. But, by far, his biggest achievement this year is the title of national vice-champion of the All Round Fanciers 3 years category. To these, of course, are added at least as many achievements on a provincial and national level.
